How We Started…
Hi! I’m Carrie, Owner and Lead designer of 7th Haven Interiors living my dream career while raising 3 beautiful children in Southern California. I began my career in Real Estate and Interior Design over 18 years ago. I am a 3rd generation native when it comes to transforming Homes with Design. My Great Grandfather was the first developer here in California of a famous Los Angeles beach community.
With my own career spanning both residential and commercial Design and Real Estate, combined with my longstanding affiliate relationships and partnerships of wholesale vendors in Home Decor, Home Furnishings and Home Accessories, my ability to create stunning Interiors is truly at my Fingertips...and through this modern world of online Design, I’m so excited to now make it yours!
To me, creating a space for clients is so much more than a pretty room to showcase or entertain. My passion and fascination with design stems from my 14 year old self after the loss of a parent. I craved home on the hardest of days. It was my one place to feel like nothing had shifted because I could still count on the sun to light up the living room every morning, reflecting light in such a way that life still felt bright in that very room. The textures, the smells, the design, the flow and the balance in the visuals of home brought a sense of familiarity, comfort and normalcy. Today, in my profession, when I leave a design space for the last time, I know I’m done when I can see the family spending their greatest moments and hardest seasons in that space…knowing it will bring that very comfort and serenity we all crave … all stored in their memory banks for a lifetime to come with those very images of that space and what resides in it and how its made them feel. 7th Haven Interiors has always been about wanting homes to be a our clients Haven.
In providing you with our newest online design platform I am elated to be able to give each of our customers, Nationwide, both High-End Designs, in-budget furnishings and accessories while saving you thousands… this has always been my greatest dream realized…and here we are!
The 2019 average Interior Decorating experience, for One Room OFF-LINE (in person) transformation, cost a minimum of $10k per room, before Designer Fee’s were included! The cost of travel, in-home consults, project management, contractors on site and more have truly drained Design clients of what should be the absolute joy in making your home a Design Dream come true. e-Design has allowed me to minimize what’s not essential and get to the meat of what you need efficiently and in the most cost-effective way.
